Kindaburra Newsletter 21/04/2017

Dear Families,

I hope you’ve had a lovely Easter break and for those who are still on holidays, I hope you enjoy the rest of your time off.

We’ve recently had some new children join us (especially in our babies room) so I would like to welcome these families to the community. Our teachers are dedicated at ensuring that your child settles in well whilst acknowledging that each child is different and has their own pace.

Please feel free to contact us anytime throughout the day for an update on your child, we’ll be happy to let you know how he/she is going.

We’ll be having the Tree Top enclosure at our Centre for the next two weeks. The children will learn about animals who call the canopy their home. They’ll meet Stick Insects, Spiney Leaf Insects and Katydids. I’m sure you will hear all about them from your child soon enough!

The enclosure is currently in the Dingo Room, but it will be moved around so that all the children may be able to experience it too.

Next week, we will be celebrating Anzac Day and children will do some activities around this very important commemoration. We have a few Defence Force families at Kindaburra and would like to extend our gratitude towards your service, we owe our comfort and safety to you.

Notices

The Centre has been getting a few requests for swap days lately.

Please be reminded that we are unable to do this, however if you would like to book your child in for another day, please contact us.

Lastly, just a friendly reminder that Kindaburra will be closed on the Anzac Day Public Holiday - Tuesday 25th April 2017. We will re-open on Wednesday, 26th April 2017.

Kind Regards

Patricia Wilschefski – Director
